Inviting Team Members

Collaborate with your team on changelog creation and management.

Subscription Requirements

Free Plan:

  • 1 organization member (owner only)

Pro Plan:

  • Unlimited team members
  • Role-based permissions
  • Team collaboration features

Inviting Members

  1. Go to your organization
  2. Click "Members" in the sidebar
  3. Click "Invite Member"
  4. Enter their email address
  5. Select their role
  6. Click "Send Invitation"

The invitation will be sent via email and expires in 7 days.

Roles and Permissions

Owner

  • Full access to everything
  • Can delete the organization
  • Can manage billing
  • Only one owner per organization

Admin

  • Manage organization settings
  • Invite/remove members
  • Manage all changelogs
  • Configure pages and permissions

Editor

  • Create and edit changelog posts
  • Upload media
  • Manage tags
  • Cannot change settings or members

Viewer

  • Read-only access
  • View changelog posts
  • View organization details
  • Cannot make any changes

Managing Invitations

Pending Invitations

View pending invitations in the Members page:

  • See who was invited
  • Who sent the invitation
  • Expiration date

Revoking Invitations

  1. Go to Members page
  2. Find the pending invitation
  3. Click "Revoke"
  4. Confirm

Changing Member Roles

  1. Go to Members page
  2. Find the member
  3. Select new role from dropdown
  4. Change is immediate

Removing Members

  1. Go to Members page
  2. Find the member
  3. Click the remove button (🗑️)
  4. Confirm removal

⚠️ Note: Removed members lose all access immediately.

Best Practices

  • Assign minimum required permissions
  • Review team members regularly
  • Remove inactive members
  • Use Viewer role for stakeholders
  • Use Editor role for content creators
